Most people think of the ego in terms of their pride and perception of themselves but i recently was taught that letting go of your ego means accepting that the world has its own idea of where you belong in life and that you can’t control things or outcomes…they  were right. Allowing yourself to know that all things happen for a reason (in spite of what your ego may desire)will set you free.
